Project

Project is a task, planning, and personal productivity application for iOS and Android. It helps people organize tasks, projects, goals, schedules, time blocks, and date-based plans in one system.

Google Calendar integration

Google Calendar synchronization is an optional Project feature. After a user chooses to connect a Google account, Project lets the user select calendars and decide how calendar events should appear in Project.

Project requests access to the user’s Google Account email and identifier, calendar-list metadata, and events in calendars selected by the user. This access is used only to provide the following user-facing features:
• display selected Google Calendar events in Project;
• provide offline access to synchronized items;
• synchronize supported changes in both directions between Project and Google Calendar;
• create, update, move, or delete Google Calendar events when the user performs the corresponding action in Project;
• maintain recurrence and background synchronization for the calendars selected by the user.

Google Calendar integration is not required to use Project. Synchronization starts only after the user connects a Google account, configures the integration, and explicitly starts synchronization. The user can disconnect an account in Project or revoke access in Google Account settings at any time.

Project does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. The detailed rules governing access, storage, protection, sharing, retention, and deletion are described in the Privacy Policy.
